Many gynaecological procedures no longer require a hospital stay. Dr. med. Darius Bartczak has many years of surgical experience – among other things as a senior physician, as founder of a day clinic for outpatient surgery and at a training centre for minimally invasive surgery. You benefit from this experience with every procedure: you are carefully prepared, treated gently and can usually go home on the same day.
Hysteroscopy
Using a fine optical instrument, we look at the inside of the uterus. This allows us to clarify the causes of bleeding disorders, polyps or changes in the uterine lining reliably – and often treat them in the same procedure.
Tissue sampling and clarification
If findings are abnormal – for example on the cervix, the uterine lining or in the breast – we take targeted tissue samples. They form the basis for a reliable diagnosis and the right further treatment.
Removal of polyps and benign changes
Benign changes such as polyps of the uterine lining can cause symptoms or affect the wish for a child. We remove them gently and have the tissue examined histologically afterwards.
Preparation, information and aftercare
Before every procedure we take time for a detailed consultation, answer your questions and discuss the procedure, anaesthesia and what to do afterwards. After the operation we accompany you personally until you have fully recovered and discuss all findings with you.
